Registration
Member identification numbers are only required for club delegates. You can locate your member ID on the “My Membership” page in your Lion Portal account or your club’s secretary can look it up for you.
Lions

Registration is refundable until May 1, 2025, less a US$25 processing fee.
After May 1, registration is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person or to a future convention.
Payment for convention registration can be made by credit card (Visa®, MasterCard® and Discover®), check or wire transfer. Lions International no longer accepts local, non-USO bank deposits as a form of payment for the convention.
We cannot accept payment through PayPal, Zelle or Venmo.

Convention will be held Sunday through Thursday with the Parade of Nations kicking off festivities on Monday, July 14. On Thursday, July 17, the presidential inauguration will bring our time in Orlando to a close.

Travel
In general, travel to the United States does require a visa. But depending on the traveler and the purpose of their visit, there are different types available.
Visit the U.S. Embassy or Consulate website to see which visitor visa is best for you and begin the application process.
A letter of invitation for convention should not be required. However, if it is requested, you will be able to download one from the confirmation email sent after completing your convention registration.

Assigning delegates
Every Lions club in good standing can participate in the election of executive officers and international directors and can vote on amendments to the association’s by-laws by assigning delegates to represent the club at the international convention.
For a Lions club to be considered in “good standing” and eligible for delegates during the international convention, the club must not be in status quo or financial suspension, and must have:
- District (single, sub- and multiple) dues and fees paid in full; and
- No unpaid balance of international dues and fees greater than US$10, outstanding more than 30 days; and
- No unpaid Lions Clubs International account balance greater than US$50, outstanding more than 90 days.
Club delegates can be assigned online by the club president or secretary between January 1 and July 11, 2025 at 23:59 US Central Daylight Time.

A new delegate can be assigned in the voting area at the event venue. The new delegate will need to be accompanied by a current authorized club officer* or district officer** and both the delegate and officer will need to provide a government-issued photo ID.

Each club is allowed one delegate for every 25 members or major fraction thereof. The Lion Portal will inform you when your club has reached its maximum number of delegates.
No, assignment of delegates must be performed electronically at any time between January 1 and July 11, 2025 at 23:59 US Central Daylight Time.

When a club officer assigns a delegate, that delegate will receive an email with their confirmation number.
In order to assign a delegate, the delegate must have an email address that is not shared with any other Lion or Leo on file with Lions Clubs International. A club officer or council staff member can update a delegate’s email address.
Voting
Verify that your club president or club secretary did not reassign the role of club delegate to another member. If you are still assigned as a delegate, email to memberservicecenter@lionsclubs.org for assistance.
No, delegates can only vote if their club is in good standing.

Be sure you have your voter confirmation number, your LionsCon name badge and a government-issued photo ID.
Once your votes are submitted, they cannot be modified.
The voting system does allow you to preview the ballot before submitting, so you may verify all your selections.
The election results will be presented during the final plenary session on July 17.

Parade of Nations
Yes! Visit the Parade of Nations webpage where you’ll find everything you need to know about participating in the parade.
Lions and Leos do not register for the Parade of Nations individually. Please contact your council chairperson or district governor for more information about participating in the parade with your delegation.

No. Lions should register as a multiple district or single district. The council chairperson for the multiple district or the district governor of a single district are often the ones to register the entire delegation for the parade and coordinates the parade wear, band and/or float for the parade. Please contact your council chairperson or district governor for more information about participating in the parade with your delegation.
Each individual participating in the parade should be registered for the convention and must display their convention name badge and parade ribbon during the parade.
The delegation’s authorized representative will ensure that all trash is properly disposed of in receptacles while in the assembly and dispersal areas. Additionally, the delegation’s authorized representative is responsible for maintaining order and responding to any instructions from parade officials or police relating to their delegation. Failure to comply will eliminate the group from participation.
Yes, portable toilets will be available.
The parade will take place “rain or shine” and will only be canceled under extreme weather conditions. The local emergency services agency will determine if extreme conditions call for cancellation. Lions will be notified via their delegation lead, social media and official Lion International hotels.
Animal participation is subject to the city’s ordinances. Please contact parade@lionsclubs.org for more information.
Shuttles will be offered for those staying at official Lions International hotels that are not within walking distance of the parade assembly location. Shuttle routes will be published in the convention program.
Shuttles will be offered from the parade dispersal area back to the convention center.
LCIF donations
LCIF donations will be accepted at the LCIF Booth inside the Exhibit Hall. You can also donate online.
LCIF will credit donations to the person identified as the donor on the online donation form.
Yes, a donation can be made in honor of someone else.
All donations will be acknowledged; however, tax deductibility is only applicable for donors in the United States. Several options for giving are available. Learn more about the one that’s right for you.
